Fish, Frogs
and
Lizards
After taking workshops with Marla
Frankenberg and Donna Kato I had yards and yards of flower canes and
some leaf canes too. I made some jewelry and a few vessels
but that didn't even put a dent in my cane inventory, so I
started making fish.
The fish body is made of flower cane slices. For the face, I use
a single petal and the fins are made from leaf canes. I usually
use a rivet for the eye. I have made a few fish using different
techniques but I think my flower fish are the coolest ones.
I still had a lot of canes left and I was a little tired of
making fish so I made a few frogs and a lizard or two.
Am I out of flower canes yet???
